TRAINING DAY

For a small island kingdom, we have so many modeling agencies and events company to choose from; all of them trying to get the best piece of the pie and in the process some of the models unfortunately, are used not to their advantage but for the purpose of money making schemes that aspiring models don’t see upfront. Since their dreams of becoming professional models are their number one priority and not knowing better, they end up in limbo instead of being prepared for something a lot better.

Being a professional model requires a lot experiences in order to gain the confidence required whether on catwalk, publishing or television. The same goes to, that one develops a personality and a strong character when exposed to a lot of demanding modeling assignments. However, with so many aspiring models in the island, how does one get the right break? Or, how does a model learn the right tools to be considered an ace in the trade?

With Elyowm Production’s launching of its “Summer Modeling Workshop”, we have spearheaded a much required training program for hopeful models; who would like to have their dreams fulfilled; such as learning everything from proper posture, turns and phases, different types of catwalk, professional projection and being able to communicate with the camera.

Our in house team of experts, ensures that each category is met with high standard. We have beauty experts that will teach you the basic and advance techniques on how to develop your own look that you can be proud of; our professional photographers who will guide you and talk about tips on how to communicate with the camera but still maintain that individuality that can be your asset as a model, and lastly creative directors and choreographers that will enhance your moves and actions, transforming you from ordinary to someone who can inspire.

Our first batch of trainees are now or their way to become experts in the trade, with the knowledge we are giving them, they will be familiarize with what is important in order to have an edge in the industry that they have entered. Plus, we are creating their professional portfolio in all aspects once they graduate.

“Elyowm” meaning today!, is a production company that has produced many shows that has influenced Bahrain’s night life in different forms. It has trained dancers, performers and singers alike to be a part of major productions that has taught a lot of new comers about commitment, stage presence and camaraderie. This summer it is spearheading a Modeling Workshop that will enhance aspiring models to be educated and trained to be professionals either on the Catwalk or Print Media.

With the upcoming Model Hunt in October and Fashion Week in November, we are predicting a big demand for new faces and new models that will be featured in this promising shows that will make this island kingdom well talked about again. Our trainers consists of Creative Directors that will enhance and teach about basic / advance catwalk techniques, a pool of Make up artists that will instruct about the importance of proper make up application and personality style, plus professional photographers that will give our students important insights and knowledge on facing the camera and professional posings. Having this professionals under one roof does not only secure proper learning but also essential networking that is a major part of the Fashion Industry. We do a hands on training so that each student will learn the important elements that is necessary in giving them an edge in this competitive environment.
